Meet the team: Jon Man, Senior Business Growth Executive
Jon Man joined Ebit in March 2022. Working as our Senior Business Growth Executive alongside the Business Growth Team, Jon provides expert guidance to prospective new clients. Focussed on delivering successful outcomes for each client prior to any engagement, Jon ensures we are best placed to provide effective, innovative procurement solutions.
What does your role encompass?
“Creating and nurturing strategic relationships, to assist businesses to identify hidden potential profits they can liberate by adopting an Intelligent Indirect Procurement approach through Ebit’s expertise”
What’s your professional background?
“Sales, sales and more sales, I started from a young age in retail sales, selling inanimate objects, then was approached to sell people (Head Hunting and Recruitment, just for clarification), then onto Business Development within the Professional Services sector and now I’m here at Ebit.
The pace at which the company works and seeing the positive impact Ebit has on businesses that embrace our services is great for me, to know that I can directly contribute to the success of other organisations.”
How can Ebit help businesses as they navigate current business challenges?
“By highlighting that improving profitability is not only achieved by increasing sales of services or products. When delivered correctly it can be far more effective by implementing Strategic and Intelligent Indirect Procurement processes.”
When you’re not at work, what do you enjoy doing?
“Riding motorbikes, finding new recipes to cook and trying to keep my house plants alive”

Do you have any pets?
“I have a teenage daughter, does that count?”
What was your first ever job?
“Steward at an Ice Rink. I used to figure skate and play ice hockey so it made sense to get paid whilst I was practicing my own skating. Leading kids birthday parties was an interesting experience and finding peoples lost teeth was always fun.”
