2012

Ebit is founded by John Bradshaw and Rob Froome who set out to create a different procurement consultancy experience – hands on, collaborative, human, going above and beyond, delivery focused and doing the right thing by its clients. Within weeks, Ebit win four clients including The White Company and Superdry PLC.

2013

With initial growth in the retail sector, Ebit expands its client base, growing through reputation and referral. Procurement work covers all aspects of indirect spend with particular focus on cost reduction and business improvement. Ebit are delivering an average 5/1 return on investment for its clients.

2014

The Ebit team continues to grow made up of senior procurement consultants including a number of specialists with deep expertise in areas such as payment processing, logistics and marketing. This brings about more specialist work in indirect procurement.

2015

Ebit has now worked with over 25 retail clients and begins to extend services into other markets such as manufacturing, leisure, food and beverage. Market intelligence, knowledge and ability to benchmark is now considerable and to the benefit of clients.

2016

Ebit extends its services to include managed services and procurement outsourcing in addition to its established cost reduction and business improvement services.

2017

Ebit creates its own in-house contract management software product to enable businesses to store contracts for easy access remotely and receive tailored alerts when renewal action is required.

2018

Ebit has now worked with over 60 clients within various sectors providing procurement services including cost reduction, business improvement, managed services and procurement outsourcing along with contract management through its software product.

2019

Ebit receives substantial funding from Thincats through an introduction by KPMG to enable rapid growth. The Ebit team of procurement specialists grows further and combined turnover of Ebit’s client base now exceeds £60bn.

2020

What a year - With the Covid Pandemic, businesses are faced with huge challenges both operationally and from their cost base. Ebit support its clients through this period providing support particularly around minimising costs and meeting the sudden changes required to meet the new landscape such is with the sudden growth in ecommerce.

2021

Ebit are acquired by the 4C Group meaning a considerably wider range of procurement services is now available to Ebit’s client base such as procurement transformation.
