What does your role encompass?
N: Working with our team of great Procurement Operating Partners to deliver tangible value for our clients

What do you enjoy most about working at EBIT?
N: Everyone at EBIT is completely aligned and focused on delivering for our clients. I’ve already had the opportunity to get involved across the business and the current and pipeline client-base, it’s obvious that the team here are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients

What’s your professional background?
N: I had 20 years in-house procurement in big blue chip companies across FMCG, financial services and food production, before making the move into consultancy where I’ve gained another 10 years experienec across many sectors and projects

What would your advice be to someone who is considering procurement as a career?
N: Understand the data that you’re seeing and look for the missing pieces, bring emotional intelligence to stakeholder and supplier relationships and don’t be afraid to challenge the status quo

What was your first ever job?
N: I had loads of summer jobs when I was growing up, but my first proper job was working in a greasy spoon in Hull – we made the best chips in the world!

Who would be your dream dinner guest?
N: Sir John Curtice ( I’m a politics geek) and Gary Lineker who apparently is a great cook!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
N: It’s not the what, it’s the how.

Do you have any pets?
N: A crazy sprocker spaniel called CocoPops who is by far my favourite family member.
